Nib: Medium 14k Gold, stamped with an "N" indicating manufacture in Newhaven, England
Duofold AF (for "Aluminum Filler"), with button filing system. 5 1’4” capped. Burgundy with gold trim. Thin cap band with a lined triangles pattern (it looks sort of like this: ////\\\\////\\\\)
Condition: Pre-owned. There are no major imperfections to note: no chips cracks or any sign of faults or surface wear. Writing test, filled & cleaned. No box no instructions
It relies on an internal rubber ink sac, a metal pressure bar (or curved spring bar), and a push button hidden beneath a screw-on blind cap at the end of the barrel.
Filling process: Remove the blind cap, submerge the nib and feed into the ink bottle, and press the rear button once (or a few times depending on the specific sac and model) to flatten the bar against the sac and expel air; releasing the button creates a vacuum that draws ink inside
