Filling Instructions
This is a variation on the safety pen. To fill you unscrew the cap and fill the pen reservoir like an eyedropper, then turn the knob on the end of the barrel to extend the nib up thru the ink until it makes a seal, at which time you can begin writing. When you are done writing, you retract the nib and screw the cap on.
The Moore Pen Company was based in Boston, Massachusetts, and made high quality fountain pens until the mid-1950s. The company began in 1899 as the American Fountain Pen Company with an excellent black hard rubber safety pen they made for nearly 30 years, known as the "Moore's Non-Leakable Fountain Pen."
