Nicolaus Copernicus, a Polish scientist, who was the first to postulate that the solar system is heliocentric in structure and not Ptolemaic as it was considered for centuries. He was a major contributor to the development of art and science in early renaissance period. The barrel is machine turned and covered with a beautiful dark grey (anthracite colour) lacquer while nine concentric sterling silver rings form beautiful bands hugging the shaft, symbolizing the nine planets of our solar system. The cap is crowned with a huge mother-of-pearl Montblanc star. The pen clip sports a small greenish glowing faceted meteorite crystal obtained from a real celestial traveler that landed on earth from somewhere in deep.A solid 18k gold two-tone nib is hand engraved with a Copernican solar model and has a medium point.
