The Blackbird is a vintage fountain pen originally produced by Mabie Todd & Co during the early-to-mid 20th century (1920s–1930s) in England, Lever-filled with Chrome trim
Condition: Pre-owned. There are no major imperfections to note: no chips cracks or any sign of faults or surface wear. Writing test, filled & cleaned. Vintage box with Pencil instructions. Still has the wrap around tag on the cap

Mabie Todd produced the high-end Swan series, while the Blackbird served as a reliable, slightly lower-tier or secondary line featuring a distinct bird logo imprint on the cap and barrel.
Early models were constructed from Black Chased Hard Rubber (BCHR), while later 1930s models featured colorful celluloid or marble plastics (such as green pearl).
They typically used a traditional internal rubber sac operated via a side lever-filling system.
