Lamy cp1 , brushed stainless steel
Nib: Medium steel
The Lamy cp1 fountain pen was released in 1974 and designed by the iconic industrial designer Gerd A. Müller, who also created the groundbreaking LAMY 2000
The name "cp1" stands for "cylindric pen No. 1," reflecting its strict, minimalist, and slender cylindrical geometry.
Bauhaus Philosophy: As the visual opposite of the cigar-shaped or tapered LAMY 2000, the cp1 embraces the core Bauhaus principle of "form follows function" with a completely straight, unadorned metal profile.
The Signature Clip: It is famous for its massive, spring-loaded stainless-steel wire clip that articulates smoothly against the slim barrel.
