Nib: X/M Gold
The Parker 180 Gold Barley G/P pattern, introduced in 1979, is noted for its innovative flat, triangular nib, which was designed to write two ways, giving the pen two nib grades for the price of one. Converter / cartridges
The name 180 was derived from "180 degrees" - since You could turn the pen a half turn to write with a thinner line. The Parker "180" had a rigid bar on top of the nib to prevent it from bending and the ink feed held the nib firm from the other direction.
